Mother’s Day activities
This week has been filled with exciting activities, meaningful reflection, and positive growth across the elementary school. One of the highlights of the week was the annual Spelling Bee Competition for students in Grades 1 through 6. Participants demonstrated impressive preparation, confidence, and perseverance as they competed in front of their peers and teachers. We are incredibly proud of all students who took part and showed great courage and sportsmanship throughout the event. Congratulations to all of our participants and winners for representing their grade levels with excellence.
In celebration of Mother’s Day, students also participated in a variety of creative and heartfelt classroom activities to honor their mothers and caregivers. From handmade cards and crafts to thoughtful writing pieces and classroom presentations, students took time to express gratitude and appreciation for the important role mothers play in their lives. These activities encouraged kindness, reflection, and meaningful connections within our school community.
Following the midterm exam period, students have been carefully reviewing corrections and reflecting on their academic performance. Teachers have noticed many positive attitude changes as students demonstrate greater responsibility, improved focus, and a stronger willingness to learn from mistakes. Through class discussions and guided reflection, students are developing a healthier understanding of growth, perseverance, and academic improvement. We are proud to see students approaching challenges with more maturity and confidence as they continue working toward their goals.
Beyond academics, students are continuing to strengthen positive behaviors such as teamwork, respect, and encouragement toward others. We appreciate the effort students are making each day to contribute to a supportive and caring learning environment.
