Welcome Back, CIA! Spring Break Reflections and Looking Ahead
Written by Ms. Ryan
Welcome back, CIA students and families! We hope everyone had a restful and enjoyable spring break. After a busy first half of the semester, the week off was a well-deserved chance to relax, recharge, and spend time with loved ones.
During the break, many families in Taiwan also observed the Tomb Sweeping Festival —a meaningful tradition where people honor their ancestors by visiting family graves, cleaning the sites, and offering prayers. It’s a time for reflection, respect, and connection, and we hope everyone had a chance to take part in this important cultural celebration.
As we return to school, it’s time to shift our focus back to learning and preparing for what’s ahead. Midterm exams are just around the corner and will begin in the coming weeks. Now is the perfect time for students to review past lessons, stay organized, and ask questions if they need help. Teachers are here to support you as we head into this important part of the semester.

Let’s all start this next stretch with a positive mindset and strong work ethic. Whether you’re aiming to improve your grades, set new goals, or simply do your best, every step forward counts.
We’re excited for everything the rest of the semester holds—let’s make it a great one, CIA!
