Together We Grow: CIA School Parents Day 2026
Written by Ms. Mkhatshwa
On March 7th 2026, CTBC International Academy (CIA) warmly welcomed parents and families to the Parents’ Day event for the Spring 2026 semester. The morning began with parents arriving on campus and completing the registration process before gathering in the school auditorium for the opening session.
Parents were welcomed by Mr. Chi-Long Lin, who delivered the opening remarks and shared the school’s vision for the semester ahead. During the session, school leaders and staff introduced important information to help families start the new term smoothly. Parents were guided through key school procedures and policies, including attendance expectations, communication channels, and student support systems. Practical information about school catering services, daily drop-off procedures, and general campus routines was also explained to ensure families feel confident about the school day structure.
During this session, CIA staff members were also introduced, giving parents the opportunity to become familiar with the team that supports student learning and wellbeing. Another highlight of the presentation was the announcement of a first for CIA—the upcoming Terry Fox School Run (a voluntary 30-minute walk/run) during the CIA Family Fun Day to be held on 3/21/2026. Inspired by Terry Fox’s message of perseverance and hope, the run aims to build community spirit while supporting an important cause, Cancer Research in Taiwan.
CIA Staff Being Introduced to Parents
Following the auditorium session, parents were invited to tour the school facilities. Families explored classrooms, learning spaces, and key areas of the campus to gain a better understanding of the learning environment.
We would also like to extend a warm welcome to all new parents and students to the CIA Family!!
