Season’s Greetings: Celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas Cheer!
Written by Mr. James
Dear Students, Parents, and Staff,
We’re thrilled to bring you some VERY IMPORTANT announcements from the Student Council here at CTBC International Academy! With the holiday season upon us, we’ve planned a series of exciting activities and events to bring our community together. From sharing gratitude for Thanksgiving to celebrating with a festive Christmas party and showing school pride during Spirit Week, there’s plenty to look forward to!
Let’s dive into the details.
1. Thanksgiving Gratitude: Share the Love with a Special Card!
Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the things and people that make our lives special. This year, the Student Council is making it easy to show your appreciation by offering Thanksgiving cards for sale!
Here’s how it works:
- Purchase a Thanksgiving card from our organizing team.
- Write a heartfelt message for someone you’re grateful for.
- We’ll take care of delivering it to the recipient on your behalf!
This simple but meaningful gesture is a great way to express your gratitude and make someone’s day brighter. The funds raised will go toward supporting future Student Council events and initiatives.
Make sure to stop by and check out our cute turkey poster for all the details on where to buy your card and how to participate. Let’s fill the school with gratitude and kindness!

2. Christmas Party and Talent Show: Save the Date!
The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without our annual Christmas party, and this year it’s going to be extra special. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 20, when we’ll gather to celebrate the season with food, fun, and festive cheer.
But that’s not all—we’re excited to announce that this year’s Christmas party will feature a talent show! We know how much talent we have at CTBC, and this is your chance to show it off. Whether you sing, dance, act, perform magic, or have any other talent you’d like to share, we want to see it!
To sign up for auditions:
- Scan the QR code on the Christmas poster displayed around the school.
- Follow the instructions to submit your application.
Auditions will be held soon, and we can’t wait to see what you’ve got! This is a fantastic opportunity to perform in front of friends and family and be part of one of the most anticipated events of the year.
3. Spirit Week: Let’s Show Our School Pride!

Get ready for one of the most fun and colorful weeks of the year—Spirit Week! This year’s themes are all about creativity, self-expression, and building school spirit. Each day has its own unique theme:
- Monday: Pajama Day – Roll out of bed and head to school in your comfiest sleepwear!
- Tuesday: Rainbow Day – Dress in as many colors as you can to brighten up the halls.
- Wednesday: Twins Day – Find a friend and dress like twins for the day.
- Thursday: Bad Fashion Day – The tackier, the better! Mix patterns, clash colors, and embrace your inner fashion disaster.
- Friday: Red and/or Green Final Day – End the week with a festive flair by wearing red and green to celebrate the season.
Spirit Week is a fantastic way to bring our school community together while showing off your creativity and school pride. Don’t forget to check out the Spirit Week poster for more details, including tips for dressing up and how to earn House Points for your participation!
These events are just a glimpse of the exciting things we have planned for the coming weeks. The Student Council is so proud to serve such an enthusiastic and supportive school community, and we look forward to seeing all of you join in the fun.
Stay tuned for updates, and let’s make this holiday season one to remember!
Warm regards,
CTBC International Academy Student Council
