Family Day 2025: Active Fun and Friendly Competition!
CIA extends a warm thank you to all of the students and parents who participated in family day, an exciting day of active outdoor fun in the sun on CIA’s campus.
Teams of students, teachers, and parents competed in a wide range of sports, including football, hockey, tennis, and baseball. The day began with stretching, led by “The Passion Sisters,” to prevent injury. For the grand finale, the teams faced off in a thrilling game of kayaking on the water. Afterward, everyone cooled off with a nice scoop of ice cream.
Congratulations to everyone who participated, and especially to the yellow team, who secured victory with outstanding scores across the board! Go yellow!
While CIA prides ourselves on academics, events like family day give the CIA community a chance to bond through fun, low-pressure activities. Parents could be seen coaching their kids in skills like pitching, while students’ siblings cheered from the sidelines, and teachers proudly displayed their teams’ flags.
We look forward to the next family day, and hope that everyone will continue the spirit of family day by staying active, showing great sportsmanship, and spending quality time together in nature.
