CTBC International Academy Hits the Airwaves on ICRT!
Written by Mr. Rabanal
Exciting things are happening at CTBC International Academy—our students are now radio stars! Through a partnership with International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT), students get to showcase their amazing English skills in fun and creative ways.
While junior and senior high students have been wowing listeners for a while with cool scripts about English idioms, trivia games, and seasonal stories, it’s the elementary students who’ve recently stolen the show! Instead of reading pre-written scripts, our younger stars write their own! They will share heartfelt stories about their favorite teachers, classes, projects, and what makes life at CTBC International Academy so special. Many scripts have been written already and students all seem to be buzzing about their new swings and play area that opened up just two weeks ago!

The first brave crew to step into the spotlight? Fifth graders Jenny, Anita, Phoebe and Brandon! They brought the house down with tales about their favorite school projects and the buzz of Christmas talent show auditions. Their enthusiasm and creativity were off the charts!

This opportunity isn’t just about having fun (though it definitely is). It’s about building confidence, improving English skills, and giving our students a chance to shine outside the classroom. What better way to do that then to send their stories out onto the air waves!
We’re so proud of our students for stepping up and making their voices heard—literally! To any readers out their interested in hearing the stories of CTBC stay tuned, because our students are just getting started.
Go, CTBC Stars!
