CIA Clubs: Fridays Just Got More Fun!
Written by Ms. Mkhatshwa
After a hectic school week, Fridays at CTBC International Academy are the perfect time to unwind, have fun, and connect with friends! From 3:10–5:00 PM, students can enjoy their chosen school club under the guidance of a mentor teacher. The clubs met for the first time this semester on 18th September 2026. Students selected the club they wanted to join, met their mentor teachers, and established important ground rules. The first afternoon was filled with introductions, laughter, teamwork, and lots of enthusiasm!
For those who love strategy and friendly challenges, Tabletop Tactics offers exciting board games that develop teamwork and problem-solving. Billiards combines fun with focus, patience, and even a little physics! Sports lovers can get active with Soccer, Hockey, and Basketball, where students practise skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while enjoying friendly competition. If music is your passion, Hot Music is the place to be! From rock to pop and everything in between, every genre is welcome. Meanwhile, our Editors Club lets creative students write, edit, tell stories, and help create exciting school and social media content.
