Finishing Strong & Ready for the Holidays!

As we reach Week 18 – the final week of the semester, the campus is buzzing with a mix of focus, excitement, and the joyful countdown to the holidays. It is exam time, project time, presentation time… and almost rest time!
Last week Friday, 2nd January 2026, CIS proudly hosted the Exhibition of Achievements for our Grade 7 – 9 Art Students and what an inspiring showcase it was. The Art Classroom transformed into a gallery as students and teachers moved through displays filled with creativity, skill, and hard work. A highlight of the exhibition was the voting for the Top 3 Artworks across four creative categories: The Art of Words (Chinese & English), Our Characters, Sketch and Our Christmas Trees. The quality and originality of the work made voting no easy task! Well done to all participants for expressing yourselves so confidently and creatively.

Behind the scenes, our PBL Sitcom Production Class was busy preparing something exciting of their own. Lights, camera, action! Students worked collaboratively as they prepared to shoot a scene for their Pilot Episode, learning real-world media skills along the way.
As this final week unfolds, students across the school are completing Final Examinations, Presentations and Projects – a true demonstration of everything they’ve learned this semester. We are incredibly proud of the effort, growth, and resilience shown by our students throughout the semester. Now, it is time to finish strong and look forward to a well-earned break.
Happy Holidays from all of us at CIS!
