Growing Together: Reflections from the Parent Teacher Meetings

Growing Together: Reflections from the Parent Teacher Meetings

Written by Ms. Nacar

The Parent Teacher Meetings held from November 10 to 21, 2025 brought a warm and hopeful atmosphere to the campus. During these days, families and teachers met to talk about each child’s growth and daily experiences at school. Many parents shared that the school already feels like a second home for their children, a place where they spend many hours learning, building friendships, and developing character. With this in mind, everyone came together with one shared purpose: to support the holistic development of every student.

Mr. Wilmott shares insights and listens to parent feedback, building a partnership for student success.

The conferences helped both parents and teachers understand students more deeply. Teachers shared updates about academic progress, behavior in class, and how students interact with their peers. Parents talked about interests, routines, and study habits at home. When these insights come together, a clearer picture of the whole child emerges. This makes it easier to recognize each student’s strengths and identify areas where they need more support. Honest communication also builds mutual trust, which is the foundation of a healthy partnership between home and school.

Mr. Delpeche shared that parent teacher conferences offer much more than reporting academic performance. They give teachers a chance to understand what students hope to achieve and to set goals that truly support their growth. Mr. Wilmott added that these meetings help everyone “get on the same page,” making it easier for parents to guide their children with confidence at home. For Ms. Nacar, the conversations were especially meaningful. Hearing directly from parents helped her see her students in a fuller way and encouraged her to reflect on her teaching.

Ms. Thabile shares a warm conversation with a parent, celebrating student progress and building strong connections.

We sincerely thank all families who attended. We look forward to continuing this warm partnership as we guide every student to grow in confidence, character, and academic skills.
