New Voices Join the ICRT Radio Project!

We’re thrilled to announce that even more of our students are stepping up to the microphone! Following the success of our previous on-air storytellers, new students have begun recording for ICRT, continuing our school’s exciting partnership with the local English-language radio station. This year we are beginning with the new grade 4 class! Many of the students in grade 4 are very eager to share with you their stories and you will be hearing a lot from them this semester.
This new round of recordings focuses on fun facts and interesting stories! Students are sharing everything from amazing new ways to help the environment, trivia on everyday things to surprising discoveries and classroom curiosities. Each broadcast is filled with enthusiasm and creativity, showing just how curious and confident our young learners have become. Once the students are accustomed to the recordings, they will write their own personal stories about their favorite activities and classes they’ve had so far in school this semester.
Just like before, every student takes ownership of their work—writing, editing, and practicing their scripts before heading into the recording booth. It’s a wonderful way for them to grow their writing, speaking, and presentation skills while having lots of fun!
These new recordings will begin airing soon and continue throughout the semester, so keep your ears open! You might hear one of our newest student broadcasters sharing fascinating facts and stories live on ICRT soon!
