Mandy’s Shop Brings Sweet Thanks for Teacher Appreciation Day
Written by Ms. Tiffany Lin
To celebrate Teacher’s Day, high school students set up a special bake sale in Mandy’s Shop. The booth gave all the students in school a fun and creative way to show appreciation for their teachers with a sweet treat.
During lunch break, students visited Mandy’s Shop to choose from a wide selection of goodies, including chocolate brownies, doughnuts, mochi, and madeleines. The colorful display and delicious aromas made it hard to resist. The madeleines came in a variety of flavors such as Earl Grey, chocolate, and lemon, offering something for every taste—whether students preferred something rich and indulgent, or bright and tangy. These delicate, shell-shaped cakes were a standout among the treats.
Students could buy sweets to personally deliver to the teachers they wanted to thank or simply pick something for themselves if a particular dessert looked especially tempting. The variety of treats ensured that everyone could find something they liked, making the experience even more enjoyable.
The atmosphere buzzed with cheerful energy as students chatted, laughed, and shared their plans for surprising their favorite teachers. The activity at Mandy’s Shop was more than just a bake sale—it was a fun and meaningful way for students to express gratitude and recognize the teachers who support them every day.
With delicious treats and warm-hearted interactions all around, Teacher’s Day at CIS was filled with sweetness, smiles, and thoughtful gestures—a celebration that left everyone feeling appreciated and connected.
